The "Subject Matter Expert" will be based in Chennai reporting to Senior Manager
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Subject Matter Expert - GBS Planning in Chennai, India.
What a typical day looks like-
- An experienced planning professional who can quickly and accurately process overall planning activities in a fast-paced environment. Has excellent stakeholders service skills and works well in a team to consistently meet challenging performance targets. "
Responsible for providing expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT),
Ensuring the ability of the materials planning for a specific project or projects as required.
Providing materials support to the weekly production planned orders and enables to achieve Kit on time drop to meet Customer Schedule.
Key assignments includes Demand Planning, Material Planning, providing timely Materials status through use of available Shortage reports, Submission of Excess and Obsolete Inventory to the Customer, Work Order Management, inventory management.
Senior Materials Planners for New Emerging NPI Accounts to provide faster service to the NPI Customer to effectively communicate with the customer protecting Business interest of Flex

Providing weekly/monthly visibility to performance metrics & trend analysis whilst ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to add value and work smarter, collaborating with peers both internally & externally to set project groups to fix any operational issue.The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Proficiency: ERP/P2P systems BAAN / SAP/ Oracle
Knowledge of complete planning cycle including S&OP, MPS, MRP, Demand Planning, Materials planning, Production planning.
Adaptability and reliability: The jobholder is required to have a flexible and adaptable approach to changing work schedules and business needs and remain steady and reliable under pressure.
Communication: Communication, both verbal and written, is an important part of this role. The job holder is required to exchange information, ideas and views on business related matters concerning the Planning function, throughout the Company at all levels.
Innovation: The jobholder is required to show a willingness to question traditional methodology and make recommendations on new ways of approaching problems and improving existing processes.
Shift timing- 7 PM to 4 AM (night shift)
