Job Summary
Flex Power Modules is seeking a skilled and driven Simulation Engineer - Electronics to join our R&D team.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing next-generation power solutions for AI datacenters and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on advanced DC/DC conversion and power electronics. You will be responsible for modeling, simulating, and validating complex electronic systems to support design decisions and research activities.
This is a unique opportunity for an engineer with strong simulation expertise and a deep understanding of power electronics who enjoys supporting designers by delivering and explaining simulation results, including the impact of potential design changes and who wants to work with cutting-edge technologies and global hyper-scalers.
What a typical day looks like:
- You will work closely with our design- and advanced engineering teams;
- You will plan and estimate the time required for incoming tasks;
- You will analysis/understand the physics and the theory behind a proposed concept, figure out the way to simulate the specific task and finally demonstrate your simulation results, suggest changes and evaluate their impact;
- You will perform electromagnetic simulations using FEM tools to evaluate magnetic and PCB design, etc;
- You will perform electrical circuit simulations;
- You will perform signal integrity simulation to generate high frequency model of our board;
- You will explore new simulation methods and continuously strive to improve simulation accuracy.
- M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power Electronics;
- Extensive experience in FEM tools like COMSOL, Ansys or CST;
- Extensive experience in electrical circuit simulations;
- Documented experience in electrical development within the field of Power Electronics;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
