Job Summary

Job DescriptionTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Engineer- Materials located in Sriperumbudur

What a typical day looks like:

• Maintain accurate records of scrap inventory movements (E-Waste, HZD Waste and General Waste).
• Monitor and ensure appropriate inventory levels across all areas.
• Identify highvalue materials and update/define part catalogues as required.
• Coordinate part mapping with the Global Indirect Commodity team.
• Create new part numbers and modify catalogues when needed.
• Support daily internal approvals and verify transactions on time.
• Oversee timely segregation, storage, and disposal of materials.
• Manage scrap materials identification and engage with CFT and alert if any high value.
• Coordinate with vendor plan and arrange All type of waste scrap vehicles collections daily.
• Coordinate with customerrecommended and 3rdparty vendors for inspection and disposal.
• Review quarterly, monthly, and yearly scrap sales projections with Finance.
• Ensure smooth movement of scrap from multiple locations to scrap stores.
• Maintain EOL, Excess & Obsolete (E&O), and RTV Inventory and dispose on time.
• Address issues related to scrap storage constraints.
• Maintain strong internal stakeholders and External vendor relationships.
• Arrange vendor inspections based on user requests.
• Conduct vendor evaluations weekly and monthly with CFT.
• Validate agreements vs. quotes, including part numbers and pricing.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and notify the IP team on contract validity.
• Manage new vendor onboarding and vendor changeover plans
• Ensure compliance with PCB norms and customer-specific audit requirements.
• Support EHS in achieving UL Certifications, ISO standards, Non-SOX, IGAAP, Simi audits, and other internal/external audits.
• Update monthly sustainability and EHS data.
• Prepare for scrap vendor audits and other 3rdparty audits.
• Maintain 5S, Kaizen, and Gemba standards at the scrap area.
• Circulate MIS reports to CFT members.
• Maintain accurate scrap disposal documentation and internal movement approvals.
• Monitor Documentations related to Vendor Inspections and Audits.
• Assist Accounts with AP/AR queries related to scrap disposition
• Maintain accurate record for Quote approvals and Vendor Agreements.

• Monitoring material segregation, storage, and on-time disposal.
• High-value material identification and categorization.
• Part number and catalog updates for CFT.
• Execution of agreements and adherence to audit requirements.
• Endtoend material disposition and On-time scrap movement management.
