Job Summary
We are looking for a new Project Engineer employee to be based in Bielsko Biala (Poland)
Summary:
Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for preparation of whole mechanical documentation for low voltage products and for supervision in case of mechanical aspects of all ongoing projects.
What a typical day looks like:
- Mechanical design preparation for low voltage products and their components based on the client specification and according to available documentation and norms.
- Detailed drawings creation, bill of materials and technical documentation according to project requirements and in correspondence with applicable standards.
- Implementation of the new products into the factory, based on the training abroad and adjusting their production/engineering process to the plant needs with considering effective realization on all process steps
- Supervision and engineering support on the different project stages, from the agreements with client on the very beginning project stage until final realization of the project.
- Development and update engineering databases with new parts and assemblies.
- New solution development and optimization of existing ones.
- Mechanical (or perhaps mechatronics) Engineer degree
- Good knowledge of Polish & English language
- About 3 years of relevant experience working in a mechanical engineer role
- Teamwork and ability to adjust to different tasks assigned by superior
- Ability to work under time pressure and focus to meet the deadlines
- High level of independence and responsibility for assigned tasks
- Strong motivation, willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Willingness to do business trips abroad - if needed
- Good knowledge of 2D, 3D CAD tools, preferred is Inventor
- Experience in work with PDM/PLM tools like Vault, Windchill
- Eligibility to work in Poland (EU).
- Knowledge of others CAD tools like AutoCAD, Creo
- Experience in creating BIM models
- Experience in designing low voltage switchboards or other low voltage products
- Interesting and challenging job in an experienced and close-knit team
- Substantive support in the process of adaptation
- Participation in projects of international scope
