Job Summary

The Product Mechanical Design, Senior Manager will be based in Changi, Singapore
This role will be accountable for guiding a team of Mechanical Engineers to ensure that cost, quality and delivery targets are met.

What a typical day looks like:

• Provides technical guidance to Mechanical Engineering & Design teams.
• Oversees resources budgeting, allocation, review, and approval.
• Tracks projects and progress through regular reviews.
• Assigns resources to projects based on requirements and budget.
• Develops control systems and reports which accurately measure progress, identifies potential technical problems, and implements timely corrective actions to ensure that business goals are met.
• Participates in product architecture and feasibility technical reviews.
• Guides the development of product designs from proposal to delivery.
• Provides technical assistance to customers, Program Management, and Sales team.
• Implements appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
• Typically requires 9 years of engineering experience including supervision.
