Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams that create great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Process Engineer - Mechanical Assembly located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the role of Process Engineer - Mechanical Assembly involves developing, optimizing, and sustaining mechanical assembly processes to ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved across the manufacturing organization.

What a regular day looks like:
- Mechanical assembly process control, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Direct communication with internal teams and OEM customers regarding process changes, requirements, and technical updates.
- Evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability (DFM / DFA).
- Establish and validate robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
- Lead activities focused on cycle time reduction, efficiency improvements, and optimization of assembly flow.
- Evaluate and select materials, fixtures, tools, and equipment required for mechanical assembly operations.
- Implement and analyze statistical process control (SPC) for new and existing products.
- Drive continuous development of manufacturing techniques that strengthen operational capabilities.
- Develop, review, and update manufacturing documentation (work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, flow diagrams).
- Collaborate with production on all activities related to new process implementation or process transfer.
- Support training development and provide training to production personnel for new processes or technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related field).
- Experience as a Process Engineer within the electronics or manufacturing industry, with emphasis on mechanical assembly processes.
- Knowledge of PCBA and mechanical assembly processes.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
- Strong skills in preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills when interacting with OEM customers.
- Familiarity with FMEA, DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis tools.
