Job Summary

Internship- Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for students or earlycareer professionals with a Mechanical Engineering background to join Flex Design Center in Milan.

In this role you will be part of an experienced team to pro-actively support in the mechanical design of connected medical devices. You will execute technical assessments, perform simulations and implement innovative and cost effective solutions, from prototype development to full scale production.

What a typical day looks like:

• You will work in a multidisciplinary team to develop the mechanical components of medical devices.
• Perform feasibility studies and build proof of concept prototypes for assessment.
• Provide high quality technical reports supported by simulations and/or lab tests.

• MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Kinematics Mechanism and Production Technology Processes knowledge.
• CAD tool competence (with preference for CREO or SOLIDWORKS).
• Great communication skills - explaining technical topics.
• Fluent in English

• Fast prototyping technologies.

• 6 month Internship program (plus 6 month renewable.
