Job Summary
Summary:
The "Material Planning Analyst" will be based in GDL South, reporting to Materials Manager
In charge of maintaining materials/purchasing data, supply data, and information to other production departments, coordinating contracts, maintaining Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers, and creating and maintain outsources parts schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts based on the analysis of data.
- May assist in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the analysis of data.
- Collects, compiles, analyzes and presents various types of data.
- Generate Shortage Reports.
- Review Shortage Reports with buyers and present a summary to the client.
- Experience with NPI and transfers.
- Demand analysis and loading.
- Analyze, request, and record approvals for excess MOQ and PPV PFAs (expediting fees).
- Control of Do Not Buy listings.
- Analyze and implement Engineering Changes.
- Attend and participate in CFT meetings.
- Generate and follow up on Excess and Obsolete Inventory Reports.
- Update Production Plan - Capacity Projection.
- Experience in Electronic Industry (desirable).
- Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in materials or related field.
- A background in electronics manufacturing is desired.
- Intermediate Excel.
- Problem-solving.
- Data Analytical Skills.
- ERP (BAAN, SAP, Oracle, etc)
- Experience with Kinaxis.
- English Advanced.
