Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams, which build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Facilities Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Facilities Director the Facilities Engineer role is responsible for applies engineering values to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Interpret and analyze single-line diagrams to assess electrical configurations and systems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in mechanical installations, electromechanical engineering, and energy engineering.
  • Supervise a team to ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Researches facility products, equipment specifications, and performance requirements to define designs compatible with existing manufacturing or processing capabilities.
  • Defines feasibility for new equipment or facility modifications considering cost, space, time constraints, corporate planning, and technical factors.
  • Provides project management and administrative control of projects (PM).
  • Participates in client calls to review scope, identify gaps, align requirements, and coordinate activities across different plant locations (north, south, technology areas, etc.).
  • Follows up on government processes related to energy-related matters.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • BA/BS Electromechanical engineer, energy engineer.
  • Advanced English proficiency is a plus.
  • Jr or mid-experience in a similar position as a facilities engineer with energy focus.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience supervising construction projects.
  • Mechanical installations and facility management experience.
  • AutoCAD, 2D 3D. Microsoft Office Knowledge.
  • Availability to travel (10 % per year).
  • Experience managing team.
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers and governmental authorities
