Summary:
The Equipment Maintenance Manager will be based in Flex GDL North, reporting Sr Director, Operations Engineering.
Directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance (preventive and corrective) of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, delivery requirements, spare parts control and being responsable of 6s of SMT lines and equipment maintenance lab-room.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs, main KPIs, daily SMT LU% monitoring MTBF and MTTR.
- Establishes preventative maintenance schedules for SMT Equipment including: Screen printer, solder paste inspection machine, pick and place machines, AOI, conveyors, FIFO, routers, wave solder and pressfit machines.
- Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
- Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and workforce resource requirements.
- Monthly / Quarterly SMT LU% and performance reviews with Corp
- Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations. Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.
- Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.
- Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.
- Implement next-generation SMT quality control using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Bachelor's degree completed.
- Advanced English.
- 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Manager.
- SMT equipment platforms:
- Screen printer: DEK
- SPI, AOI: Ko Young
- SMT Pick and Place: ASM
- Wave solder: Electrovert
- Experience in PCBA manufacturing
