Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an EHS E ngineer located in Suzhou .
Reporting to the Operations Director the EHS E ngineer role involves site EHS & Security management.
What a typical day looks like :
- Support the management team in EHS & Security management to ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and supplier requirements.
- Manage EHS Management of Change (MOC) for new buildings, equipment, processes, and layouts.
- Promote EHS culture via targeted programs; conduct training needs assessments and design training plans to boost staff EHS awareness and skills.
- Coordinate third-party audits and inspections; act as the primary contact for internal and external EHS performance audits.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and rectify safety & health hazards, and recommend improvement actions.
- Lead or assist in EHS incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up on corrective/preventive measures.
- Maintain EHS documentation systems and emergency response plans; serve as the external liaison for EHS-related communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Health Sciences or equivalent;
- solid knowledge of EHS regulations.
- Minimum 6 years of EHS-related work experience.
- Fluent in oral and written English and Mandarin.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project software.
- Preferred: Environmental and Safety Engineer qualification; emergency medical
- and Hazmat certifications a plus.
- Strong operational, technical, and stakeholder management skills; deep understanding of EHS functions and business strategic impact.
