Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Director Operations Engineering - EMEA - PCBA Manufacturing ideally located nearby Romania, Timisoara, Tczew, Poland or Budapest, Hungary.
Reporting to the Sr Director, Operations Engineering the Director Operations Engineering - EMEA - PCBA Manufacturing role will be responsible to direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in the Manufacturing operations to drive Process development and manage technical relationship with customer to support NPI processes for CEC Global operations.

What a typical day looks like:
- Provide the necessary strategic leadership and support to site Program & Project Managers (design, NPI, operations, etc.) to ensure programs are executed to plans;
- Act as the first escalation point globally for all product programs, projects and operational performance issues;
- Ensure collaborative cross-functional teamwork to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control all phases of NPI;
- Drive effective two-way communications between Flex Operations and Global Account Management;
- Participate in NPI program reviews;
- Ensure all programs and project teams adhere to the Flex Product Life Cycle Process (FPLC) process;
- Facilitate and enhance cross-functional relationships to maximize customer satisfaction criteria and operational performance;
- Be responsive to customer requests. Ensure effective and timely corrective action of any performance and customer-related issues to guarantee high Customer Satisfaction;
- Recognize and develop talent as a key element of executing operational business plans. Ensure Flex's values are part of site work life.
- 10+ years' experience in a Program/Operational Management or leadership role within EMS Manufacturing supporting NPI and Product Transfers;
- Completed degree in Electrical or mechanical engineering or related field;
- Good knowledge on PCBA & Back End assembly processes, and System Integration processes;
- Strong customer and Program management experience with Tier 1 OEMs within a global environment across time zones / regions;
- Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with different levels within Flex & customer organizations and drive advanced process development activities;
- Ability to travel ~ 40 % within EMEA, USA, Mexico.
