Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Value Added Services Strategy to drive strategic growth and lead transformative initiatives across the Value added Services Group. This person will be located in the United States . In this role you will report to our Sr Director of VAS Marketing & Strategy. This position requires a blend of strategic acumen and strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with senior executives, manage high-impact projects, and oversee a high-performing team.
This position is Onsite in Austin Texas.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop and implement strategies and oversee the execution of key initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes focused on Service strategy development
- Responsible for working across all areas of the business including Sales and Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing & Service Operations, Technology, Corporate Development, Services sustainability and more
- Analyse Markets for future growth & investment, craft M&A strategies including sourcing partnerships and supporting engagements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and the C-Suite, preparing and presenting findings and recommendations in support of strategic initiatives and Board discussions.
- Collaborate with and mentor a team of high-performing managers and analysts, driving profitable growth for multi-billion-dollar business units while addressing both short-term and long-term goals.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify and assess growth opportunities and develop organic and acquisition-based strategies to enter new markets, expand into adjacent markets or gain share in existing markets.
- Foster a collaborative team culture while enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

- 8+ years of professional experience including 3+ years in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate GTM experience, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree: engineering/technology, business, and other quantitatively oriented majors preferred, MBA preferred.
- Experience in end-to-end strategy development utilizing a hypothesis-driven approach
- Experience leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and transformation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on market and analyses, capability assessment and roadmap development, voice of customer research, market and customer segmentation, partnership and acquisition target identification and analysis.
- Team player with strong communication, relationship-building, leadership capabilities, and ability to collaborate virtually and across regions.
- Proven experience in strategic planning or corporate strategy roles.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Leadership experience managing diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
- Knowledge in mergers and acquisitions and growth strategies.
- Technology background preferred
