Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Director, Materials located in Juarez Sur

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director, Material's role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

  • Expertise in developing and executing global sourcing strategies aligned with GSS objectives, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-regional supply chains, ensuring material availability, minimizing risk, and optimizing logistics.
  • Skills in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with global suppliers to drive performance, innovation, and resilience.
  • Advanced knowledge in demand forecasting, inventory control, and capacity planning to support dynamic production environments.
  • Strong ability to work across departments (Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality) to align materials strategy with business goals.
  • Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams, mentoring leaders, and driving engagement in multicultural environments.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold global standards and policies.
  • Experience in industry Global Services & Solutions (GSS), desirable.

  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Experience working with GSS or global commodity management teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
