Job Summary
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
We are looking for a new Data Engineer employee to be based in Tczew, Poland
Summary:
Primary Objective: Support business decision-making through advanced analytics, Big Data technologies, and predictive modeling while ensuring the reliability, availability, and continuous operation of business applications.
What a typical day looks like:
- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of business applications and system functionalities.
- Develop and apply statistical, predictive, and machine learning models to support real-time business decision-making.
- Perform data analysis using advanced analytical methods and tools to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Collect, integrate, and transform structured and unstructured data from multiple sources using Big Data technologies.
- Design and implement data-driven solutions to identify patterns, optimize processes, and improve business performance.
- Promote data analytics best practices and support the development of analytical capabilities across the organization.
- Perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of business applications.
- Collaborate with external vendors, internal consultants, Key Users, and Help Desk teams to ensure seamless system operations.
- Develop innovative business solutions that improve productivity and user experience.
- Define and implement procedures and technical solutions to enhance system performance, stability, standardization, and security.
- Create, analyze, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain technical, functional, and process documentation for implemented solutions and analytics initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 2-3 years of experience in IT business analyst function and database administration responsibilities
- Good Polish & English language skills
- Eligibility to work in Poland
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with business applications (ERP, MES, HR, Financial Systems).
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or other data analytics tools.
- Experience with Big Data platforms and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Microsoft Data & AI, Azure Data Engineer, Power BI, or similar analytics certifications are an advantage.
