Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Civil Construction Engineer

Reporting to the Facilities Manager The Civil Construction Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising civil construction projects from design through execution. This role ensures that construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulations, while managing contractors, reviewing technical documentation, and monitoring project progress.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Ability to develop and manage construction execution schedules and project timelines.
  • Experience in construction project administration, including control of legal and regulatory documentation related to construction activities.
  • Review and validation of quantity take-offs, progress measurements, and contractor payment estimates.
  • Preparation of progress reports, tracking project milestones, and monitoring construction activities.
  • Development and management of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and work item catalogs.
  • Review, analysis, and evaluation of construction budgets and cost estimates.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations, design standards, and labor compliance requirements.
  • Experience in construction workforce supervision and contractor management.
  • Ability to review and interpret architectural, civil, topographic, and electromechanical drawings.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for drafting and drawing review.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project for scheduling and project control.
  • Experience in structural analysis, design, and calculations.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (licensed/registered engineer preferred).
  • Experience in civil works planning, supervision, construction finishes, and building installations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and construction quality standards.
