The "Assistant Manager Supply Chain Solution" will be based in Chennai , reporting to Manager
What a typical day looks like
Analytics & Development
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau (complex calculations, LODs, performance tuning).
- Develop and manage MicroStrategy (MSTR) reports, documents, and dashboards.
- Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions with high performance and usability.
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, and UAT support across dashboards and reports.
- Develop optimized SQL queries and data models in Snowflake.
- Build and maintain database objects (tables, views, stored procedures).
- Perform query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Support data integration and ETL processes for analytics platforms.
- Drive automation use cases across reporting and data pipelines.
- Design and implement AI-based solutions including:
- SQL-based chatbots / conversational analytics.
- Generative AI use cases for reporting and insights.
- Work on semantic models, natural language querying, and AI-driven insights.
- Ensure end-to-end documentation for all dashboards, reports, and enhancements.
- Maintain BRDs, technical design documents, and deployment artefacts.
- Enforce adherence to dashboard deployment checklists, performance documentation, and validation standards.
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure a high-performance, motivated, and skilled team.
- Allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
- Tableau (Desktop, Server, Prep) - Advanced dashboard development
- Looking for Hands on experience on python skill
- MicroStrategy (MSTR) - Reports, Objects, Dashboards
- Strong SQL expertise (Snowflake preferred)
- Data Warehousing concepts & ETL tools
- Exposure to GenAI, Chatbots, or AI-based analytics solutions
- Experience or interest in building intelligent automation workflows
- Knowledge of natural language processing / semantic analytics (preferred)
- Strong project management and documentation discipline
- Experience in handling end-to-end dashboard lifecycle
- Team leadership and mentoring capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and quality
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Exposure to Supply Chain domain
- Experience with AI tools, Python, or automation platforms
- Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Graduates.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in BI Developer
