University Relationship Lead

The Role
As a University Relationship Lead, you will you serve as the strategic liaison between Fidelity and our university partners across graduate, undergraduate and community colleges across our firm's regional footprint. In alignment with Fidelity's workforce strategy and various business plans, you will develop and maintain impactful relationships with our target university career services, deans, faculty, and students, alumni and professional student organizations to provide access to top students and establish a mutually beneficial long-term collaboration.
In this role, you will support the execution of Fidelity's university recruiting strategy and relationship management with institutions who provide access to higher education and educate students from historically marginalized communities. You'll collaborate closely with Senior University Relationship Leads to coordinate and deliver impactful events and engagement activities that attract top student talent to our internship and full-time early career programs.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with internal teams to plan, execute, and attend campus events, ensuring seamless logistics and exceptional candidate experiences.
- Cultivate, drive, and maintain relationships with college career services, deans, faculty, students, alumni, and professional student organizations
- Work closely with recruiting and business leaders to develop recruiting strategy for local and regional markets
- Serve as subject matter expert in college workforce trends by providing key insights to assist in delivering creative and innovative approaches to campus recruitment with stakeholders
- Ensure consistent approach to corporate brand and image in all campus activities
- Manage supplier and check requests to support event operations.
- Serve as a liaison for student communications, including invitations and confirmations for internal and external events.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and other tools to capture data, track progress, and report on hiring outcomes.
- Recommend process improvements to drive operational excellence.
- Travel as required for meetings and on-campus events during the recruitment cycle across multiple markets. Events may require nights and weekends
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in recruiting
- Demonstrated experience with all campus recruiting lifecycle components including sourcing, qualifying, and assessing students, networking, college market trends and relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in large, matrixed organizations or professional services.
- Strong knowledge with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms (Workday, Cvent, Handshake, 12Twenty).
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to maintain momentum under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to build relationships across teams and locations.
- Resiliency and adaptability to navigate changing priorities and dynamic business needs.
