Senior Vice President, Protective Services

Fidelity Investments is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) of Protective Services to lead and evolve our global protective programs. This executive role is ideal for a visionary leader with deep expertise in executive protection, threat mitigation, intelligence operations, and travel security. You will oversee a high-performing team dedicated to safeguarding the firm's people, assets, and reputation across the globe.

The Expertise & Skills You Have

• Proven experience leading protective programs for high-profile individuals in multinational corporate or family office environments.

• Proven experience in corporate threat management; encompassing threats targeting associates, workplaces, and assets

• Deep understanding of physical security systems, protective technologies, and legal frameworks (LEOSA/CCW).

• Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.

• Discretion and integrity; trusted to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.

• Exceptional relationship management, communication and collaboration skills.

• 20+ years of experience in professional protective services and/or relevant disciplines; certifications in executive protection, intelligence, or threat management strongly preferred.

• 5+ years in a leadership role within a fortune 500 company strongly preferred

• Valid U.S. passport and flexibility to travel globally, often on short notice.

• Strategic Leadership: Design, implement, and oversee global protective operations, ensuring alignment with Fidelity's risk posture and business priorities.

• Team Management: Develop and lead a multidisciplinary team of protection specialists, analysts, and associates fostering a culture of excellence, discretion, and continuous improvement.

• Threat Intelligence & Mitigation: Direct the Threat Management Team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to the firm to include key assets. Develop proactive strategies to address emerging threats.

• Executive Protection & Travel Security: Lead the Travel Security Team in planning and executing secure travel for employees and senior leadership, including on-site support at high-profile events and international engagements.

• Intelligence Operations: Oversee the Intelligence Team in gathering, analyzing, and operationalizing intelligence to inform protective strategies and decision-making.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across Legal, HR, Global Security, and Risk to ensure cohesive and comprehensive protective measures.

• Vendor Oversight: Select, manage, and evaluate domestic and international service providers to ensure consistent quality and alignment with Fidelity's standards.

• Training & Awareness: Working in coordination with Global Security's training program - support development and delivery of security awareness programs tailored to executives and key personnel, reinforcing a culture of safety and preparedness.

Travel: Domestic and international required

Location: Boston, MA

Relocation: Yes, from within the Continental United States
The base salary range for this position is $185,000-$400,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
