The Role

Looking for your next opportunity to innovate and drive growth? Fidelity Charitable is seeking a highly motivated individual responsible for a portfolio of donorfacing programs that advance our mission and support the evolving needs of donors. The Senior Manager of Product Management, Philanthropy, will guide a selections of programs that strengthen our ability to help donors give more, give more effectively, and support their goals to strengthen the nonprofit sector.

Fidelity Charitable is looking for a talented individual to focus primarily on managing and designing programs to support philanthropy. Reporting to Vice President, Product Management, you will lead initiatives that increase adoption and usage of new programs, while scaling and improving existing programs. As donor needs become more complex, Fidelity Charitable programs and capabilities need to evolve to meet those needs. You will be asked to identify and analyze business opportunities, recommend solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver prioritized solutions. The Senior Manager will both support the build out of new program / product offerings as well as help maintain and support current donor and giving programs. Many programs will be focused on our most generous donor's interests, including collaborative giving and giving with impact.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • A commitment to Fidelity Charitable's mission and a passion for expanding charitable giving and nonprofit impact
  • Experience in structural philanthropy, such as DAFs, foundations, corporate giving institutions, and other giving-focused institutions.
  • 5 years of product or program development and project management experience with ability to deliver complex projects while demonstrating positive relationship skills across business teams such as service, sales and relationship management, marketing, and legal
  • Demonstrated expertise working on new business development initiatives
  • Ability to think strategically and implement collaboratively
  • Your comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to work in start-up or new business environment
  • Detail-oriented approach to managing projects through to successful execution
  • Proven ability to drive innovation in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to communicate your ideas and build a plan to implement
  • Strong judgment in identifying opportunities to improve programs while thoughtfully managing risk and stewarding resources
  • Experience in philanthropy, the nonprofit sector, or mission-driven financial services preferred

The Team

The Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund (Fidelity Charitable) is a public charity that sponsors the largest national donor-advised fund program. Since 1991, Fidelity Charitable has introduced tens of thousands of donors to the benefits - and increased charitable impact - of using a donor-advised fund to meet their philanthropic goals. Fidelity Charitable is governed by an independent Board of Trustees, which has hired Fidelity Investments as the service provider to the charity. Fidelity Investments, through National Charitable Services, provides all of the charitable organization's employees and supports all of its functions: Program Development, Marketing, Service Delivery, Change Management, Relationship Management, Finance, Technology, Risk and Compliance, and Fundraising.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
