CONSULTANT, BUSINESS ANALYST - Fidelity Health Data Enablement & Reporting

As a Business Analyst Consultant, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. You will work closely with a Product Owner (Squad Leader) and technology team to create, prioritize, and maintain product backlog, as well as translate business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivering business solutions with the highest customer value. The Team

The Business Analyst (BA) is part of the Fidelity Health Customer Solutions Chapter (team), which supports product development across multiple health care domains. The BA works on a multi-functional Agile scrum team (squad), partnering with technology and business customers to develop and implement product and service features in health care applications from inception to delivery. Your squad will focus on developing Year-round health planning, creating participant personalization, all while simplifying our site interaction to increase engagement!

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of the Fidelity business with work experience in health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development
  • 6+ years Systems Development Business Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with demonstrable ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams
  • Shown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool
  • Experience with Data analysis, SQL or basic database concepts is a plus

The Value You Deliver

  • Working in a Scrum Agile environment to deliver software
  • Leading and conducting business analyses to formulate and make recommendations
  • Creating, documenting, and leading scrum team backlog (writing user stories / acceptance criteria, supporting prioritization, running refinement sessions, etc.)
  • Collaborate with business partners, development teams, and QA on plans, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation of solutions throughout the development lifecycle
  • Supporting deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, e.g., defining and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, creation and delivery of solution training to internal teams, and communication
  • Prioritize multiple initiatives and business analysis tasks at the same time

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
