The FFIO Technology team is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer with a strong frontend focus to design and build modern, high-performance user interfaces for next-generation pricing platforms in the cloud. This role is part of a multiyear strategic initiative to modernize and enhance pricing capabilities.

Based in Westlake, Texas, this position will lead hands-on frontend development efforts, define UI architecture patterns, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. You will play a key role in shaping intuitive, scalable, and accessible user experiences that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend development

• Deep expertise in modern Angular (v16+), including:
  
  
  • Signals
  • Standalone components
  • Zoneless architecture
  • Performance optimization
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience building responsive, accessible (WCAG-compliant) user interfaces
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns
• Experience with RxJS and reactive programming principles
• Expertise in frontend testing frameworks:
  
  
  • Jest / ViTest
  • Cypress / Playwright
• Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries and design systems
• Strong understanding of browser performance, rendering, and debugging techniques

• Experience working closely with UX/UI designers and product managers
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and elegant user experiences
• Strong focus on usability, accessibility, and performance

• Working knowledge of backend technologies such as:
  
  
  • Java with Spring Boot
  • RESTful APIs and web services
• Familiarity with SQL and Oracle databases
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, ECS)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
• Understanding of 12-factor application design principles

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in both agile teams and independently
• Passion for learning and adopting modern frontend technologies and best practices

• Lead the design and development of scalable, performant frontend applications
• Translate business requirements into engaging, user-friendly UI solutions
• Drive frontend architecture decisions and establish best practices
• Champion accessibility, performance, and maintainability standards
• Build and maintain consistent UI components and shared libraries
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers on frontend technologies and development practices
• Support production applications, including on-call support when needed

• Calculating and distributing NAVs, yields, and distribution rates
• Preparing fund financial statements, dividend estimates, and tax returns
• Monitoring trade delivery and processing corporate actions
• Managing fund liquidity and shareholder transaction flows
