Principal Software Engineer in Test

The Team

Workplace Investing Quality Engineering team has an opening for Principal Software Engineer in Test. You will join a Scrum team of 6-8 incredibly talented individuals. You will have a pivotal role on project delivery teams - developing and testing the critical application that diligently test our products and instill confidence in capabilities. You will be joining a larger QA team, using innovative testing techniques to test applications.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required.
• 8+ years of Hands-on experience in functional and automation testing.
• Experience in Functional and Automation testing of API, User Interface.
• Strong and Hands-on Experience with test automation tools, Cucumber, RESTAssured and Selenium Framework
• Experience in any ETL testing tools and strong SQL is a plus.
• Experience with Cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD experience, Git, Jenkins
• Strong technical skills such as SQL, Java, and AWS/Azure
• Ability to quickly learn, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment.
• Interpret business requirements and crystallize stories and acceptance criteria for implementation.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans in anticipation of test automation issues.
• Have the proven ability to work independently as part of an Agile Sprint, Kanban team/Squads.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills who is motivated, self-directed, aptitude for learning and a teammate.
• Proven understanding of the software development process including planning, analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, and problem resolution
• Use and improve upon an existing automation framework.
• Experience with agile methodology and tool sets (JIRA)
