Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will lead efforts for planning, directing, or executing activities related to acquisition of goods and services. In this role, your responsibilities will include competitive selection of supplier(s) by following Fannie Mae's strategic sourcing process and contracting based on established guidelines.

- Lead the team in gathering information about the equipment, provisions, services, and other needs of Fannie Mae. Manage RFx process, including communication between business unit stakeholders and suppliers.
- Negotiate agreement terms (mainly for Software, Hardware and Data) with selected suppliers. Lead communication with key stakeholders (legal, BU, finance, etc.) to execute contracts. Adjust procurement needs based on Fannie Mae's changing demands.
- Work with suppliers to ensure that procurement needs of Fannie Mae are met.
- Manage multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Communicate sourcing strategies, processes, and results at all organizational levels through presentations, reports, and meetings.
- Utilize metrics, methods, and procedures to drive and measure sourcing outcomes, providing clear linkage to broader corporate goals.
- Conduct supplier financial analyses to inform negotiation strategies and decision-making.
- Prepare detailed reports and analyses using spreadsheets and other reporting tools.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering proven, measurable sourcing results while balancing risk mitigation and compliance controls.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- Minimum of 4 years of sourcing experience in Technology (Software, Hardware, and Cloud).
- Proven contract negotiation skills, with experience in redlining and collaborating with Legal on complex agreements.
- Demonstrated track record of leading successful sourcing projects with both qualitative and quantitative outcomes.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable presenting at all organizational levels.
Desired Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced analytical skills, with expertise in using sourcing metrics and linking them to corporate objectives.
- Experience with supplier financial analysis and reporting, particularly using spreadsheets.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with eSourcing and project management tools.

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
