Job Description

  • Design and develop software solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Implement new software technology and coordinate simultaneous implementation tasks across teams.
  • Maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing software.
  • Lead projects in developing and expanding product roadmaps, translating design requirements, and prototyping solutions for reduction of development inefficiencies.
  • Design effective Cloud solutions to create scalable and performant applications.
  • Propose solutions to common or discovered security vulnerabilities.
  • Manage root-cause analysis of operating errors for running applications and developing corrective solutions with respect to long-term reliability and quality assurance. Ensure setup of application monitoring tools to diagnose issues in actively running applications.
  • Analyze existing software, reviewing and code of others, suggest improvements and identify weaknesses.
  • Perform test automation implementation leveraging automated testing frameworks, including data-driven testing, unit testing, and regression testing for both API and browser channels.
  • Mentor less experienced team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's in Computer Science or Information Systems plus four years of experience in complex enterprise application software development using AWS services (including S3, ECS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, Aurora, ELB, CloudFront), Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, OAuth, Docker, Cucumber, RESTful, and Selenium. Excellent communication (oral and written) skills are also required.
