Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice and guidance to the team on monitoring financial markets and initiating trades or transactions to capitalize on recognized patterns or according to a defined strategy. You will develop strategies for analyzing financial market data and determining trends or patterns, make trades or transactions based on the analysis of financial market data, effectively transfer a portion of credit risk to private capital, and establish pricing according to the associated risk of the asset.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Multifamily - Market Transactions - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with financial dealers or other market makers to provide pricing information on mortgage-backed securities (MBS) available for sale.
  • Develop and build strong relationships with internal and external customers through active engagement and inspiring work.
  • Provide guidance to the team, monitor financial markets, and initiate trades/transactions to capitalize on recognized patterns or according to a strategy.
  • Lead and assist team members in tracking financial market activities, understand and evaluate new developments in the market, and report on potential impact on business/position, as well as use internal valuation and risk models to assist with analysis and demonstrate proficiency with financial market data sources.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • At least 4 years of related experience

Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Experience with Multifamily

This position is designated as sensitive and requires the incumbent to undergo an initial background investigation and periodic re-screenings based on role sensitivity and company requirements. Employees in sensitive positions are required to fulfill a mandatory absence of 10 consecutive business days per calendar year, in alignment with risk management and operational integrity standards."

Target Salary: $141,000 - $184,000 a year

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
