Job Description

As a trusted advisor on our team, you will provide strategic guidance on risk monitoring and analysis for the organization, lead enterprise-wide risk mitigation initiatives, and serve as a subject matter expert to influence decision-making across business groups.

Please note: This position is an in-office position located in Washington, DC

The MF Risk - Risk Analysis Advisor role empowers you to make each day your own while collaborating with leaders who care. You will:

  • Advise and influence senior stakeholders on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen risk frameworks and ensure compliance with multifamily underwriting standards.
  • Analyze complex risk scenarios and present actionable insights to executive leadership.
  • Shape enterprise risk policies and guide implementation of plans to minimize exposure and enhance resilience.
  • Champion innovation in risk analytics, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experience

  • 6+ years of multifamily underwriting or risk management experience.

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Deep expertise in Fannie Mae's DUS Program, Loss Sharing Structure, and Multifamily Selling and Servicing Guide.
  • Multifamily Underwriting, Loan Surveillance or Breach Review
  • Proven ability to evaluate compliance, develop governance frameworks, and influence risk culture.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Tableau, RiskWorks, APIs, and advanced data visualization.
  • Skilled in presenting complex concepts clearly to senior audiences and driving consensus.
  • Experience applying advanced risk techniques, including stress testing, scenario analysis, and performance metrics.

The hiring range for this role is set forth below.
