Job Description

As a valued colleague on the Ethics and Investigations team within the Corporate Risk and Compliance Division, you will provide critical support in reporting, risk analysis, governance, and operational process administration of third party resources responsible for ethics investigations. This role enables management to monitor progress and achieve goals by gathering, analyzing, and reporting on operational, project, and program-related data, while supporting process improvement, risk analysis, system enhancements, and training initiatives.

The Ethics and Compliance Risk Analyst role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal process owners and the third-party provider to ensure accurate and up-to-date risk and control inventories.
  • Review and validate vendor-conducted risk and control self-assessments for overseeing vendor data quality assurance processes and confirm accuracy of dashboards and reports.
  • Analyze vendor-provided data trends and approve visualizations for executive and stakeholder reporting.
  • Facilitate vendor adherence to governance requirements, including policy and procedure management, business continuity planning, and records management.
  • Validate updates to governance documentation and confirm compliance with internal standards.
  • Monitor vendor handling of case management workflows, electronic evidence processes, and project execution for ethics and investigations.
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc reporting process/procedures
  • Act as product owner for ethics and investigations systems used by FNMA and the vendor.
  • Oversee vendor responsibilities for troubleshooting, access provisioning, upgrades, maintenance, and user training.
  • Approve system changes and ensure alignment with security and compliance standards.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 4 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, investigations, audit, or internal controls.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating controls, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, and conducting risk and controls self-assessments.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to present to colleagues, senior management, and regulators.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; technologically savvy with experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience facilitating policy, procedure, and governance documentation workflow management, including document quality reviews.

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with Navex Ethics Point and eGRC platforms.
  • Experience with whistleblower hotline and ethics/investigations case management and reporting systems.

Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
