Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to reviewing the quality of products to ensure proper functionality, data integrity, and end-user experience. In this role, you will support quality assurance activities within an Agile Scrum environment for accounting systems, partnering closely with product owners, technology teams, and upstream and downstream stakeholders to validate business requirements, identify defects, and ensure accurate financial outcomes.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Execute in-sprint progression and regression testing to confirm that business and technical requirements are met within each Sprint.
  • Must have a good understanding of system integration testing from source to target.
  • Support the End-to-End user acceptance testing framework in support of accounting partners.
  • Be able to understand and own the YBYO (you build you own) model for a high-volume load level application iCLAS
  • Develop, execute, and review test cases aligned to approved requirements in collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Validate data accuracy from source to target, including posting rules, new ENUMs, and outbound data generation.
  • Perform loan-level outbound comparisons including loan balance, activity, journal requests, loan values, and loan characteristics.
  • Validate that all variances in outbound data and journals are traceable to approved defects or enhancements with documented impact.
  • Leverage automated testing frameworks to execute testing for defined subsets of loans.
  • Perform testing for technical stories in addition to functional stories across progression and regression cycles.
  • Support Fair Value (FV) testing, including integration with reporting system (PRISM), by preparing expected results and known variances ahead of UAT and Business Operations Testing (BOT).
  • Participate in pre-UAT test runs using upstream integrated data and final code to validate readiness for formal UAT.
  • Triage test fallouts, coordinate defect resolution, and validate fixes across lower and UAT environments.
  • Perform account-level journal comparisons to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting rules.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in product quality, quality assurance, testing, or a related discipline

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience testing financial or accounting systems in an Agile or Scrum environment
  • Strong data validation, reconciliation, and defect triage skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across business, product, and technology teams
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and audit-ready outcomes
