Description
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Work with development teams to ensure testing of new features and bug fixes.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues in the test environments and escalate.
- Improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- You will report to an Engineering Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- You should have 2 or more years of experience as an SDET or in a similar role in software development and testing
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby
- Experience with agentic AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) and spec-driven agentic development.
- Test Planning (PBI Analysis, Establishing Priorities, Providing Estimates)
- Test Design (Create/Review Test Procedures, Create/Review Test Conditions, Identify/Create Test Data)
- Test Execution (Execute Test Procedures, Create/Triage Bugs, Status Reporting, Provide Requirements Traceability)
- Experience with XML and CSV formats for test data generation.
- Experience with UAT and Production implementation & support.
- Validate Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), assuring the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of the programming interfaces
- Experience with SQL commands to create, store, retrieve, and modify data in a database
- Experience around test automation by executing scripts, reporting results, or having familiarity with basic coding skills.
- Experience with software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or similar.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
