Description

  • You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Director Engineering.
  • Working as part of an existing agile team to develop quality solutions within required deadline.
  • Collaborating effectively to support and enhance the full product lifecycle.
  • Familiar DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling to enhance posture and reduce friction.
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices such as Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code and engineering delivery and maintaining platform security posture.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, backend, and distributed systems.
  • You will partner with software engineers early in the development lifecycle to ensure testability, resilience, and adherence to quality engineering standards.
  • Build and maintain end‑to‑end, integration, and unit test suites using modern testing tools and frameworks.
  • You will Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure high reliability, fast execution, and meaningful coverage.
  • Implement API testing and contract validation using OpenAPI standards.
  • Monitor, triage, and diagnose failures across test environments; drive root‑cause analysis and long‑term preventive solutions.
  • Contribute to the definition of test strategy, quality standards, tooling upgrades, and best practices across teams.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to Degree/or Platform engineering discipline or can demonstrate commercial experience
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as SDET
  • Working knowledge of Python for backend testing and automation scripts.
  • Experience with pytest for backend service validation.
  • Experience with vitest for TypeScript unit testing.
  • Proficiency in TestCafe for browser‑based end‑to‑end testing.
  • Experience testing applications deployed on AWS Lambda, AWS ECS, and cloud‑native architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD infrastructure and testing integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with DevOps & IaC tooling such as CDK or Terraform
  • Understanding of cloud services such as API Gateway, ALB, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3.
  • Hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions, Buildkite, and Dependabot workflows.
  • Working knowledge of cloud observability tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and SecurityHub.
