Description

As a Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will increase business growth by selling Experian's data, analytics, software and decisioning solutions to banks, fintechs, payment providers and comparison sites in Germany. You will also coordinate the internal sales team, represent us at industry events, and identify market trends to enhance our offerings.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Sell Experian's data, analytics, software and cloud-based solutions across credit risk, fraud, identity and decisioning use cases
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly
  • Identify new market opportunities and manage sales pipeline
  • Coordinate the internal selling team (from consultants to senior management) around your own customers
  • Represent our company at industry events, in collaboration with other colleagues
  • Develop long-term customer relationships through excellent customer service and regular communication
  • Be the internal first contact for identifying market trends, customer needs, and progress potential for the further development of Experian's solution
  • Uphold and promote Experian's core values in all interactions and activities

Responsibility, e.g. budget, main deliverables:

  • Modernization of 2 large existing customers to the latest data products
  • Unlock cross-selling potential (e.g., platform solutions, cloud services)
  • Expansion into a one-stop shop across risk, pricing, actuarial, identity, and fraud domains
  • Acquire Net New Logos across untapped Financial Services accounts and market segments


Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Several years of professional sales experience into Banking
  • Track record in sales and new customer acquisition
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Collaborative mindset: both in working with new clients and partners
  • Understanding of complex data products and services
  • Established network and industry expertise within the Financial Services Industry
  • Compliance & Regulatory knowledge EU/Germany Banking sector
  • Familiarity with established sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN)
  • Expertise in data and software-related sales (SaaS and Cloud solutions)
