Description

We're looking for a Senior .NET Engineer, with in-depth knowledge of .Net Web API and C#, to join our Solution Development team.

You will report to Software Team Lead. As part of a team, you will be actively participating in and leading efforts in both supporting existing applications and features, as well as creating new ones throughout our market products and solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain features across the REST API services using newest versions of .Net and C# following changing business, security and compliance needs.
  • Support existing .NET and Angular applications and participation in complex incidents resolution related to live production systems.
  • Integrate with third-party services.
  • Champion code quality though code reviews and tests, within well supported testing frameworks to validate functionality implemented correctly.
  • Use AI tooling in your own work and contribute to raising the team's AI knowledge
  • Collaborate with the frontend experts in the team for enhancing our web-based products.
  • Participate in design and validation of technical solutions and contribute with ideas and innovation triages, to continue the growth of our market solutions along with the rest of the team.
  • Maintain resilient, scalable and easily maintainable systems.
  • Implement accurate and reliable code on time according to specifications and deliver required features for business needs.
  • Follow all best practices and guidelines, along with standards practiced by the team.
  • Participate actively in sessions, discussing continued improvements of the technical solutions, along with your colleagues.


Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years professional experience in C# / .NET backend development.
  • Solid understanding of ASP.NET Core, dependency injection, and REST API design.
  • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server schema design, and database migrations.
  • Experience with established software design patterns and architectural approaches like domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS and repository pattern.
  • Practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication and role-based authorization (Okta experience valued highly).
  • Experience shipping features on Microsoft Azure.
  • Comfortable writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
  • Ability to work independently within a domain-driven modular codebase.
  • Practical experience deploying, debugging and troubleshooting web applications and APIs.
  • Excellent knowledge of web standards and technologies.
  • Experience with source code repository systems like Git.
  • Experience with application lifecycle and development methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skillset is a must due to the international nature of Experian, and our distributed teams.

We will consider any of the following abilities and skills an advantage:

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and environments.
  • Experience with Angular 21 or higher, Nx monorepo and NgRx, Typescript.
  • Experience with writing tests with Playwright.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Octopus.
