Description
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of automation solutions across our hybrid infrastructure. This role is key to driving automation maturity, improving operational efficiency, and enabling self-service capabilities across regions. You will collaborate with global product owners, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that support Experian's transformation goals.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the development and maintenance of platform automation, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and workflow automation.
- Architect and implement end-to-end automation solutions across technical and delivery functions, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Drive the evolution of self-service capabilities through ServiceNow development and integration.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Champion continuous improvement in automation quality, performance, and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Contribute to strategic planning and automation roadmaps in alignment with transformation goals.
Qualifications
What You will bring:
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure/platform automation within medium to large-scale environments.
- Expertise with automation toolsets such as Terraform, Ansible, Postman, Bruno, and Git.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, YAML, and Git workflows.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow development and automation integration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, LeSS).
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, innovate, and drive initiatives forward.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automation architecture or platform engineering leadership.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and enterprise-scale automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience with ServiceNow ticketing and workflow automation.
- Experience with process mapping and workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., MCP or similar platforms).
