Description
The Security Analyst intern will operate within the Privileged Access Management team. You will involve yourself in automating data collection, manage compliance reporting, conduct risk assessments, and ensure governance over privileged accounts.
- You will help track the use of Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls across the organization.
- Help review Identity and Access Management (IAM) and PAM practices to identify gaps.
- You will help implement automated security controls.
- Help maintain policy and process documentation.
- Help build dashboards and compliance reports using tools like Power BI.
- Support automation of data collection and reporting using basic scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Help monitor security metrics and alerts using tools like Splunk or cloud monitoring solutions.
- You will help report control gaps and tracking remediation progress.
Qualifications
- Pursue a degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Knowledge of tools like Power BI, Alteryx, MSSQL.
- Knowledgeable in Python, PowerShell, Terraform.
- Understanding of Cloud & Security concepts, on AWS or Azure.
- Be available 36 hours of the week for the internship.
- English proficiency of at least B2.
- You must be enrolled in the university for the next 9 months of the internship.
- Be available to start in May 2026.
- You will receive a subsidy of $1,000 a month for the 9-month internship.
Additional Information
This is a remote internship in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
