Description
The QA Analyst Xcelerator role is designed for students passionate about technology, software quality, and automation. Participants will gain hands-on experience with modern quality assurance practices in a SaaS environment, developing practical skills in testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Assist Quality Assurance (QA) teams with manual and automated testing across web, API, and mobile platforms.
- You will perform test cases, document defects, and record results using tools such as Jira, Xray, or TestRail.
- Contribute to test data setup, validate environments, and perform regression testing before releases.
- You will collaborate with developers and product managers during sprint planning and release activities.
- Participate in automation script reviews and create exploratory test scenarios to improve coverage.
- You will support the Quality Center of Excellence (CoE) by building metrics dashboards and helping standardize QA processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Last semester or recently graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- English proficiency of at least B2.
- Demonstrated curiosity about how software functions and potential points of failure.
- Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle concepts.
- Exposure to at least one programming or scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or Java preferred).
- Familiarity with defect tracking or QA tools such as Jira, Postman, or Selenium.
- Approach problems from multiple perspectives, evaluate pros and cons of solutions.
- Provide updates and resolutions to customers and partners, with a collaborative mindset.

This is a home-based permanent role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
