Description

We are looking for a Mid Cloud Platform Engineer to support our engineering teams by designing, provisioning, and maintaining cloud infrastructure environments. This role is focused on Cloud Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), working closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure best practices, scalability, and reliability across AWS environments.

🛠️ Your key responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and evolve Terraform code following Infrastructure as Code best practices
  • Provision and manage AWS cloud resources (e.g., EC2, databases, identities, access controls)
  • Work closely with the DevOps Infrastructure team to maintain standards and cloud best practices
  • Support software engineering teams with reliable, scalable, and well-structured cloud environments
  • Reduce infrastructure bottlenecks by acting as a dedicated platform engineer for assigned teams
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
  • Handle most routine infrastructure tasks independently while collaborating closely with the team


Qualifications

🎯 What we expect from you

  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud best practices
  • Strong experience with Terraform, including creating and maintaining Terraform modules
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud infrastructure concepts
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
  • Ability to work autonomously on routine tasks in a collaborative team environment
  • Advanced English for daily communication
  • Availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed

Nice to have

  • Exposure to or interest in Big Data tools (can be learned on the job)
  • Previous experience working with DevOps or Platform Engineering teams
  • Experience supporting multiple software engineering teams in shared environments
