Description
Purpose
- The Director of Credit & Platform is responsible for leading the strategy, evolution, and unification of the platforms that power the B2B credit, fraud, data, and AI ecosystem.
- This role owns the P&L end-to-end, drives the long-term product and technology roadmap, and serves as the primary connection point between the local business and the global ESS organization. It requires strong technical depth, strategic clarity, and exceptional stakeholder navigation to guide the company toward a future enabled by a unified platform hub.
- This is a transformational, high‑visibility position for an entrepreneurial leader eager to build, scale, and influence the next generation of enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & P&L Ownership
- Full ownership of the Platform P&L, including profitability, resource allocation, and long-term financial performance.
- Define and execute the strategic direction for platforms, aligning local priorities with global standards.
- Establish KPIs, governance mechanisms, and executive-level reporting.
Global Alignment & Stakeholder Orchestration
- Act as the main liaison with Global ESS, the group responsible for all core global software platforms.
- Navigate a highly technical and politically complex global environment, influencing priorities and decisions at multiple levels.
- Ensure local business needs are effectively translated into global platform roadmaps.
Platform Architecture & Hub Integration
- Lead the design and delivery of a unified platform hub that connects credit, fraud, decision engines, and data capabilities.
- Ensure interoperability, scalability, and architectural coherence across systems.
- Serve as the "orchestrator" across engineering, product, operations, and global partners.

Product Leadership
- Shape and influence both local and global product roadmaps.
- Maintain strong connection with senior credit leadership (e.g., key VPs and decision-makers).
- Deeply understand market dynamics, customer needs, and how platform capabilities generate tangible value.
- Integrate fraud solutions into the credit journey in a strategic and frictionless way.
AI Strategy for Credit and Plataforms
- Centralize and lead all AI-driven Initiatives across Credit and Platforms structure
- Identify opportunities where AI can enhance decisioning, automation, customer value, and product differentiation.
- Communicate AI concepts clearly across technical and non-technical audiences, influencing executives and clients
Team & Culture Leadership
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of 4 direct reports and more than 20 people.
- Build a culture of innovation, ownership, and high performance.
- Develop talent, clarify priorities, and ensure consistent delivery.
- Act as a strong and influential voice across the organization.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience
- Extensive experience leading platform, credit, or complex product environments.
- Proven ownership of P&L, strategic planning, and executive reporting.
- Strong track record working with global or matrixed organizations.
- Technical background or substantial technical exposure (engineering, development, architecture, or platform product).
- Experience with data, credit, fraud, decisioning engines, or risk technology strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in system unification, modernization, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of systems architecture, integrations (APIs), and decisioning engines.
- Knowledge of SaaS, enterprise platforms, and data-driven product environments.
- Familiarity with risk models, credit workflows, fraud prevention, and analytical capabilities.
- Awareness of practical AI application in business and product contexts.
- Strong commercial awareness and capability to balance regulatory obligations with strategic business goals.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
- MBA or postgraduate education in technology, product, or management is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial experience or prior background in development/engineering is a strong differentiator.
