Job Description
Our exciting BDM opportunity is a hunter role responsible for selling Experian's leading data management solutions into our buoyant VIC portfolio. This is a successful portfolio with substantial upside. It will suit a experienced operator who is comfortable selling small one-off deals, such as a small data cleanse. Additionally, it will suit an operator who can handle larger, complex deals that offer tailored data solutions involving our proprietary tech and expert consulting.
It's a 360 sales role - expectation would be 15 new meetings a month and 10 follow up meetings. You will focus on Experian's Data Quality solutions including Data Validation, Data Management, Data Enrichment and Single Customer View Technologies.

This role will suit someone with a business development focus that's comfortable managing a set of existing customers whilst finding 'net new' logos. You will focus on industries such as retail, local government, tourism, automotive, charity, and education.
What You'll Do
- Predominately focused on the acquisition of new business opportunities within existing customer accounts and new logos. Manage and close business within a defined portfolio.
- Demonstrate that you can operate with a level of autonomy
- Prospect for new contacts within both existing and new accounts
- Agree and stick to a weekly operating rhythm that sets you up for success

More about you
- We are looking for someone who is confident, and has a desire to perform
- You'll need to 2+ years of experience in lead generation and attending meetings, with or without technical presales assistance
- This role would suit someone with 2+ years of sales Experience. We're looking for someone who has focused on business development roles and has closed opportunities.
- You'll need to be curious in your questioning to understand challenges, requirements and opportunities - someone who understands needs analysis structure is looked upon favorably
