Project Tech Stack

What You’ll Do
- Own solution architecture end-to-end: requirements, design decisions, and technical trade-offs
- Translate business and non-functional requirements into clear system architecture and diagrams
- Design and document distributed and microservices-based architectures with explicit NFRs
- Define and defend architectural decisions in discussions with client and internal teams
- Provide architectural guidance and direction to development teams, not just advice
- Review solutions and implementations to ensure alignment with approved architecture
- Lead architectural discussions across teams and resolve design conflicts
- Prepare, present, and maintain architecture artifacts using the 4+1 view model, including sequence diagrams for key scenarios, ADRs, and design documents
- Continuously improve architecture by evaluating alternatives and addressing technical risks
Portfolio/scale
- Contribute to architecture consistency across multiple platforms and programs
- Define and evolve shared architectural principles, standards, and guardrails across teams
Security & enterprise
- Design solutions with security-by-design in highly regulated enterprise environments

Hybrid cloud & migration
- Design and evolve architectures supporting hybrid cloud and large-scale cloud migration scenarios
Pre-sale
- Participate in pre-sale and discovery activities: provide architecture input and solution shaping
- Support pre-sale discussions by explaining architectural options, risks, and trade-offs
- Contribute to high-level solution proposals, estimates, and architecture outlines when needed
What You Bring
- 10+ years in software engineering with strong .NET background
- Proven experience designing and owning distributed and microservices architectures at scale
- Experience working across multiple large programs or platforms (portfolio-level exposure)
- Hands-on understanding of scalability, reliability, security, and performance trade-offs
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, and enterprise compliance constraints
- Ability to design systems visually: architecture diagrams are a mandatory skill
- Practical experience with Azure Cloud (App Services/AKS, messaging, storage, networking)
- Experience with data architecture using MongoDB and relational databases (Azure SQL)
- Strong experience in producing and maintaining architecture and design documentation
- Experience taking architectural ownership and standing behind decisions
- Ability to clearly explain and defend technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- System-level thinking: understanding solutions as part of a larger platform ecosystem
- Experience supporting pre-sale or early discovery phases in enterprise projects
- Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud architectures and large-scale cloud migration programs
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Gen AI
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or an equivalent third-level qualification in another technical field
- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-30x) or equivalent certifications
