ELS is hiring for the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist in Chicago, Illinois.
What you'll do:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist builds and utilizes a successful recruitment strategy to source, screen and retain high quality talent. This position also identifies opportunities to enhance workflows and improve candidate and manager experiences.
Your job will include:
- Support field level recruiting for our portfolio of properties.
- Build and nurture relationships with regional leaders to support their hiring needs.
- Craft compelling job postings and use search methods (e.g., Indeed, Workday, ATS systems etc.) to identify and attract strong candidates in a competitive market.
- Present qualified and interested candidates to hiring managers via electronic and in-person meetings and manage the full recruiting process.
- Measure and report on recruiting metrics and track various data points as needed.
- Train managers with respect to how to interview, including using behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Work to enhance our employer brand and surrounding initiatives.
Experience & skills you need:
- Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recruiting experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in Hospitality or Property Management preferred.
- Highly detailed and organized.
- Excellent written and oral communicator.
- Highly collaborative team player and business partner.
- Capable of working autonomously with limited supervision.
- Strategic thinker able to identify and implement new and creative ways to support the company.
- Work efficiently under pressure; drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of BC, CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT and WA is:
Annual Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
