ELS is hiring for the position of HR Administrator in Chicago, Illinois.
What you'll do:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator works closely with a team of recruiters to manage talent acquisition activities and build relationships with candidates. This position provides internal support and drives functional excellence within the human resources department.
Your job will include:
- Work closely with candidates, recruiters and business partners to schedule interviews and post-interview events.
- Perform basic phone screening of applicants to confirm they meet the minimum requirements of an open position.
- Respond to all Glassdoor comments with a personal message. '
- Maintain the @elsjobs Twitter account and create daily content.
- Update candidate records in our recruiting systems and confirm new hires.
- Manage the hiring and implementation of the summer internship program.
- Track recruiting activities and provide candidate status through weekly reports.
- Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on their recruiting status via phone and email.
- Create and send offer letters, gather and maintain all new hire paperwork and ensure compliance with hiring policies.
- Conduct all new hire orientation activities, work with the learning and development department and follow up with regards to additional training.
- Manage and maintain the internal human resources system by keeping requisitions current, accurate and complete.
- Maintain the human resources intranet page and create a company-wide recruiting toolkit.
- Build strong relationships with corporate, regional and property employees to ensure an overall positive experience for candidates.
- Identify opportunities to improve the candidate experience, scheduling efficiency and continued project management with respect to human resources processes.
- Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.
Skills & experience you need:
- Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two or more years of experience in customer service, preferably in a human resources and/or recruiting environment.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and online recruiting tools.
- High level of comfort working with all levels of employees.
- Flexibility and the ability to respond quickly to shifting company and team objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional customer service skills.

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of BC, CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT and WA is:
Hourly: $20.00 - $20.00
The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
