Job Summary

The Supervisor, Mid-Market Sales is a hybrid leadership role that supports a sales team and its Sales Manager in accelerating Equinix's growth by enabling and guiding a team with an existing client base. Responsible for providing direct supervision to a small sales team with smaller revenue and bookings within region, and also direct ownership of strategic customer accounts.

Responsibilities

People Management & Coaching

  • Coaches to enhance on-going skills development and selling behaviors
  • Creates spirit of collaboration, engagement, and sharing best practices within sales teams
  • Drives accountability for the performance and results of the entire sales team
  • Supervises and guides a team through changes
  • Ensures team adoption of relevant tools available for more efficient business management
  • Supports hiring decisions and activities, quarterly conversations, performance counseling, coaches and supports career development

Account Management

  • Owns a focused set a strategic customer accounts to maintain hands-on selling experience and commercial credibility
  • Develops and executes account plans for assigned accounts, identifying growth opportunities and key customer priorities
  • Manages pipeline and forecasting for personal patch, maintaining strong operational discipline in SFDC
  • Identifies at-risk contracts, renewal exposure, and potential churn within assigned accounts
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key customer stakeholders, serving as primary point of contact
  • Leads customer conversations with a value-based, solution-selling approach aligned to customer challenges

Qualifications

  • Proven years professional sales experience
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in both German and English language
