Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled senior software engineer with strong expertise in ServiceNow, hands-on knowledge & prior experience with ServiceNow on various modules like ITSM, CSM, Service Portal along with strong ServiceNow technical platform foundation skills. The candidate should bring solid technical depth in ServiceNow development and integrations experience along with strong functional knowledge of areas like Customer Service, Asset Management and Service Management.
Candidate will be responsible for the supporting ServiceNow Platform (SRE - Production Support) including development for code fixes, enhancements and also doing hands-on development in ServiceNow for various platform initiatives (security, monitoring, availability, compliance, integrations etc). Candidate should support and contribute to AI, AIOps initiatives to build platform automation
Responsibilities
- Engage: In daily, weekly scrum meetings & related activities
- Engage: In Incident & Problem Management (investigate and resolve, follow SLA/SLO)
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive solutions to improve platform resilience.
- Platform Maintenance: Perform routine health checks, monitor system performance, integration failures
- Platform Maintenance: Upgrade plan and activities for ServiceNow releases
- Release & Deployment: Support release validations, post-release monitoring, and deployment checklists
- Documentation & Training: maintain technical runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles
- Owns detail design and build of integrations with ServiceNow
- Conducts design reviews, provide technical leadership
- Improve AI Literacy & contribute to AI / AIOps initiatives
- Ensure adherence to code quality, unit testing, and security standards

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or technology or equivalent field
- 5 to 10 years of industry proven overall experience, with minimum of 5 years in ServiceNow
- Proven / Hands-on experience in delivering ServiceNow technical solutions
Must-Have Skills
- Advance level of experience and knowledge of ServiceNow Platform
- Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow
- Strong technical knowledge (UI Actions, Imports, transforms, Menus, workflows, catalog requests ,Scripting, Business Rules, Jobs etc. )
- Experience with Web services, Integration protocols, integration hub/spokes, SOAP/REST based APIs
- Well versed with ITSM concepts (change, problem, incidents)
- Strong knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, client server scripting in ServiceNow
- Good to have understanding of CSM (Customer Service Management) in ServiceNow
- Good to have experience with mid-server, CMDB data models, classes, relationship
Differentiator skills
- ServiceNow certified engineer
- Any external integration platform knowledge or experience, e.g. Boomi, TIBCO
- AI, AIOps and machine learning skills within or outside of ServiceNow
