Job Summary
Designs, develops and manages the lifecycle of a product or group of products from concept to launch to end of life. Translates market opportunities and customer demand into viable products and services that differentiate Equinix in the market. Sets the vision and strategy for their product ensuring it is competitively positioned and customer-centric. Manages the product roadmap including features, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Works cross functionally with user experience, engineering, operations, solution architects, marketing and others to design, build and launch new products and/or product features.

Responsibilities
Product Lifecycle Management
- Executes on the defined strategy and vision for a product
Product Strategy, Vision and Roadmap
- Gathers, documents, designs and tests the best possible customer experience and incorporates the voice of the customer into the product roadmap
- Involves engineers, designers and others to create a shared vision and clear goals for the product, including a well-defined product roadmap
Market, Competitive and Customer Analysis
- Researches competitors and verticals; prepares more complex reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potential
Business Case Development
- Creates and collaborates on the financial business models, conducts compelling business opportunity reviews with the leadership team
Product Performance
- Defines metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Designs product training curriculum; leads cross-functional trainings and meetings
New Partner Identification and Engagement
- Identifies and collaborates with partners to enhance the product
Backlog Prioritization
- Creates backlogs, working regularly with the team to refine and add detail where needed
- Collaborates closely with technology teams
Test Case Definition and UAT Coordination
- Leads definition of allowable configurations, test cases and executes UAT
Stakeholder Management
- Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions
- Identifies and proactively includes correct stakeholders and communications effectively
- Understands stakeholder needs and builds effective relationships
- Utilizes effective methods of communication with stakeholders, varying approach accordingly
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
United States - Denver Office DEO : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
United States - Ashburn Office AEO : 150,000 - 224,000 USD / Annual
United States - New York Office NYO : 150,000 - 224,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
