Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated software engineer with entry level experience in ServiceNow and candidate with strong exposure to SLDC Lifecycle, exposure to software technologies and entry level hands-on experience building software solutions. You must carry strong knowledge in computer science principles and proficiency in programming languages to build software products, and systems

You will be working on these areas - SRE (Support) - ServiceNow production support and code fixes, Building test automation in Quality Engineering & solve problems by building automation leveraging AI & AIOps

You will be professionally trained to acquire necessary & required skills

Responsibilities

  • Learning: You will require to take in-depth training and certification for ServiceNow development.
  • Learning: You will require to take training to understand Software Quality Engineering and learn test automation tools like selenium, playwright etc.
  • Work: You will be working on L1 and/or L2 support for ServiceNow (incident triage, resolution by following SLAs and SLOs)
  • Work: You will be working on platform initiatives like upgrade, doing health checks, monitoring system performance and integrations
  • Work: Release & Deployment: Support release validations, post-release monitoring, and deployment checklists
  • Work: Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive solutions to improve platform resilience.
  • Engage: In daily, weekly scrum meetings & related activities
  • Engage: In Incident & Problem Management (investigate and resolve, follow SLA/SLO)
  • Documentation & Training: maintain technical runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles
  • You will also be require to Improve AI Literacy & work on AI / AIOps initiatives and mature your AI skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or technology or equivalent field
  • Strong educational background and technology skills
  • 1 to 2 years of industry proven overall experience with ServiceNow Development

Must-Have Skills

  • Solid understanding of software design, development and SDLC
  • Prior knowledge of ServiceNow technical skills, development
  • Proficiency in programming languages
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, business processes

Differentiator skills

  • Prior certifications in software engineering (any), ServiceNow certified engineer
  • AI and Machine learning in-depth knowledge & skills
