Job Summary
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the high availability, reliability, and performance of the company's global network and systems infrastructure. This role involves continuous monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior professionals. The position requires strong technical expertise, analytical abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor the health and performance of global network infrastructure, servers, and systems.
- Identify, diagnose, and efficiently resolve network and system incidents.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of incidents, problems, and solutions.
- Provide advanced-level technical support to internal teams and clients for complex issues.
- Participate in planned software and hardware maintenance activities.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and security teams to enhance network stability and integrity.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and new team members to support team growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience working in an NOC environment, preferably in a senior-level capacity.
- Deep knowledge of core network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, among others.
- Proficiency with network and system monitoring and management tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
- Intermediate Spanish is considered a plus.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Availability to work on a 4x2 rotation shift from 07:30 to 16:30.
