Information Security (Infosec) Senior Engineer

Job Profile Summary
As a Security Developer, you will be not only developing the innovative and secure solutions for Equinix but also work within the Product Security team to design more secure software and ensure that developers have all possible solutions and knowledge to make better and more secure applications.
Main responsibilities
- Development of internal security tools and processes (including pipelines),
- Automating processes of Threat Modeling and other using Security Data from various tools
- Develop hooks, integrations and plugins for various security tools and data sets
- Evaluate AI and open source tools and services
- Assist with the documentation and maintenance of designs for security systems
- Help to fine tune security gates in SAST tools, suggest remediation for products teams
- Be the security champion - help developers with implementation of secure software - like authentication, authorization, hardening
Qualifications
- BS in computer science or equivalent with 3+ years or MS in computer science or equivalent with 1+ years of hands on professional experience
- Experience with development in Java or .NET and Python (any additional language will be a plus)
- Experience in performing software threat analysis, security analysis and risk analysis
- Real-world experience with CI/CD i.e. GitHub Actions
- Experience with delivery using public cloud such as AWS, Azure or GCP and container technologies such as Docker is highly desired
- Experience with open source software and tools for data analysis and data modelling
Will be a plus
- Any security knowledge or certification will be taken as a plus
- Experience in data analysis and deep learning
- Experience with OAuth and IAM solutions in software development

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 112,000 - 162,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
