Job Summary:

Are you a finance-savvy professional who loves working with numbers. Do you thrive in roles where you're driving business decisions - not just analyzing trends? This isn't your typical data analyst gig. This is financial planning with real impact, helping keep our global data centers running efficiently and cost-effectively.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Financial Planning Analyst in our Data Center Operations Finance team, you'll be the go-to expert for all things budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking - making sure our teams are aligned with both operational and financial goals.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Collect and consolidate financial inputs from operations teams across regions
  • Analyze trends and help fine-tune forecasts to reflect reality
  • Identify inconsistencies and drive better budget discipline

Procurement & Vendor Finance Support

  • Create purchase requisitions and track expenses end-to-end
  • Troubleshoot purchase order issues by working with both internal teams and vendors
  • Monitor procurement KPIs and suggest improvements for a smoother process

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate monthly commitment tracking and financial variance reports
  • Support accruals, month-end reporting, and executive summaries
  • Build KPI dashboards around Ops task completion and financial accuracy

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the key finance contact for the Data Center Ops team
  • Partner with vendors and AP to resolve queries and keep workflows on track
  • Bridge communication between Finance and Operations - turning insights into action

Problem Solving & Process Improvement

  • Use your financial expertise to uncover issues, investigate variances, and improve processes
  • Propose smart changes and help implement them
  • Support ad hoc projects with financial insights that make a difference

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in financial planning, budgeting, or business operations (not just data analysis!)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
  • Comfort navigating cross-functional conversations and working with stakeholders at all levels

Why You'll Love This Role

  • You'll play a critical role in managing the financial health of world-class data centers
  • You'll have ownership - and your recommendations will drive real operational improvements
  • Enjoy variety in your work - from monthly reporting to cross-functional projects to ad hoc analysis

This is NOT a data analyst role - this is hands-on financial planning, and operations support in a global tech environment. If you're ready to move beyond spreadsheets and make real business impact, we want to hear from you!
