Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Brand Content to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of content writers and specialists to create crisp, highly differentiated, compelling messaging; and deliver top-notch content to drive engagement with target audiences across marketing and brand-related initiatives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create standard-setting content and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels and touchpoints. This role will also champion our thought leadership strategy at the top of the funnel -developing authoritative content that positions our brand as an industry innovator, influences market conversations, and builds trust with target audiences.

Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-impact messaging, storylines, and content that align with the campaigns, initiatives and overall marketing objectives.
- Create compelling and engaging content across various channels, including website, blog, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
- Develop and execute a thought leadership content strategy to establish our brand as a trusted voice in the digital infrastructure space.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including corpcomm, field, product & solutions marketing, business development, sales teams, and executives, to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, visionary narratives that resonate with target audience.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis for industry trends, opportunities, and best practices to weave in the outside-in perspectives.
- Lead the content creation process, including content ideation, creation, editing, and distribution.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Leverage AI tools to build differentiated content across several formats.
- Audit, analyze and research to find content and keyword gaps; build a content strategy to achieve goals.
- Create and maintain an editorial calendar to build governance and centralize production.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize messaging and content strategy for maximum impact and engagement.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and impactful content assets.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years experience in strategic messaging and marketing as well as B2B tech marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on messaging and content strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive messaging across all marketing channels.
- Experience using AI tool(s) such as Writer, Jasper, or Copilot for content creation.
- Proficiency in tools like AEM, Workfront, Smartsheet, and Jira. Familiarity with APAC Style and in-house style guides.

- Demonstrated success in creating thought leadership programs that drive brand authority and influence industry dialogue.
- Experience with web copywriting, SEO and keyword research.
- Hands-on experience in creating value propositions and writing about industry topics, including cloud/SaaS, AI, Networking, and Colocation.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation-demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
- Critical thinking skills to review copy with an eye to brand, messaging, and guideline adherence, particularly with regard to AI-produced content.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced matrixed organization with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.

United States - New York Office NYO : 195,000 - 293,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 154,000 - 232,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
